On Friday, October 28, 2011 (Oxi Day), a delegation led by His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Ambassador of Greece to the US Vassilis Kaskarelis, Ambassador of Cyprus Pavlos Anastasiades and Washington Oxi Day Foundation President and Founder laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery in memory of those who lost their lives in World War II.
