Bruce Mosler to Receive 2017 Metropolitan Chrysostomos Award

Washington, DC, October 2, 2017: The Washington Oxi Day Foundation is pleased to announce that Bruce Mosler will receive the 2017 Metropolitan Chrysostomos Award at the 7th Annual Oxi Courage Awards in Washington, DC on October 26.

Mosler joins an illustrious list of former recipients including: former president of Israel Shimon Peres, the mother of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh Princess Alice, Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel, CEO of the American Jewish CommitteeDavid Harris, President of the Jewish Museum of Greece Makis Matsas andPhotini Tomai.

Mosler is Chairman of Global Brokerage at Cushman & Wakefield, and has been a champion of diversity and a defender against discrimination during his tenure at the firm. Along with his commitment to inclusion, Mosler currently serves as Co-Chairman of the Board for the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. Under the leadership and direction of Mosler, in 2011 Cushman & Wakefield was one of eleven founding members of the Veterans Jobs Mission. Furthering this commitment, he spearheaded the creation of Cushman & Wakefield’s own Veterans Initiative in November 2016. Mosler also serves as Chairman of BENS (Business Executives for National Security).

The Metropolitan Chrysostomos Award recognizes lifelong commitment to combating anti-Semitism, discrimination and intolerance while forging strong bonds between the Jewish and Greek peoples.

The Award will be presented as part of the Washington Oxi Day Foundation’s 7th Annual Oxi Courage Award Celebration at the United States Institute of Peace on October 26.
