Oxi Courage Award honoree Vladimir Kara-Murza Released from prison in Russia

Despite being poisoned by the Russian government twice, and almost losing his life both times, when Russia invaded Ukraine, Kara-Murza courageously left his family in the US, flew to Moscow and publicly denounced Putin’s invasion.  He was captured and imprisoned hours later.

On October 25, 2018 Kara-Murza was honored at the OXI Courage Awards in Washington, DC at the US Institute of Peace before hundreds of US policymakers and thought leaders.
